What to expect at your valuation

What's a valuation?

A property valuation is when an agent gives you a sense of the market value of your property — how much your home is worth. It’s also a chance for you to get to know us a little bit and ask any questions you might have.

In some cases, this will be done in-person, but if you prefer then we can arrange to do it over video chat. In either case, the valuation will work in pretty much exactly the same way.

At your valuation we will:

• Look around the property and get a chance to see its best features 

• Share a bit more about Strike and what sets us apart (besides selling your home for free)

• Talk you through the best ways to market your property and how we get lots of buyers through the door

• Show you other similar properties in the area and look at their listing and sold prices to help decide how to value your home

• Talk about your sales expectations and answer any questions you might have

It’s really just a chance to look around your home and have a chat, with no stress or pushy selling. In fact, there’s nothing for you to worry about. Just make sure that your home is tidy so we can see all of its features — and any information you have about the structure of the building or the appliances doesn’t hurt.
